Frank Sinatra Filmed a Movie in This Southern Indiana Home for Sale [PHOTOS]

Some of the greatest stars of Old Hollywood have been in this Southern Indiana home for sale, according to the listing agent: Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine.

The Madison, Indiana, house, known as Hermosa Vista, was featured in “Some Came Running,” an MGM film released in 1958. In the film, which was based on a novel, Sinatra is Dave Hirsh, an author and war veteran with a penchant for drinking who returns to his hometown and begins to pursue English teacher Gwen French. It is the French family who owns the Hermosa Vista house.

In one scene, Sinatra is shown smoking on the porch of the home with a view of the Ohio River in the distance, according to RoundAbout Madison.

The stars of the film lived in the rivertown of Madison, Indiana, during filming. Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine were reported to had their frustrations with small town living, while Dean Martin was happy to be there, according to the IndyStar. MacLaine wrote that mob boss Sam Giancana would come to set, and she would play cards with him.

The house, for sale for $495,000, contains some references to the film, with a tribute wall featuring movie stills. It was built in 1932 and contains four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. It sits on three acres of secluded property with a private drive.

The home is listed by Jackie Armel Greene with Coldwell Banker Harrell and Associates. You can find the full listing here.
