The St. Patrick’s Parade returned Saturday after a two year hiatus, and Louisville was ready.
Families and bar-goers clad in green lined Bardstown Road’s sidewalks, watching as floats from local businesses and organizations rolled by, throwing beads and candy.
Just two years ago, the parade was one of the first Louisville events canceled because of the coronavirus. In 2021, organizers decided to pause the event for another year as COVID still raged.
